Dera Sacha Sauda organises blood donation camps

New Delhi, April 12: Dera Sacha Sauda today (Saturday) organised blood donation camps at various places in India and abroad. Sant Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan inaugurated one such camp at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here in the morning, after which more of them were organised in 200 cities and towns in various other states.
Around two lakh donors had been registered for the camps. While inaugurating the camp at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Sant Gurmeet Ji asked the donors to participate in the camps with enthusiasm and remove the misconceptions surrounding blood donation. He said that nothing could be a greater social service than blood donation as it helped save lives.
He told the media persons that camps were held in New Zealand, England, Australia, Italy and Arab countries. He said Dera Sacha Sauda had undertaken 101 welfare works which also included kidney donation. Sant Gurmeet Ji also informed that he would be giving gurumantra at Gurgaon on Sunday between 8 am and 9 am.
According to a press release issued by the Dera Sacha Sauda media department, the blood donors assembled at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in large numbers. The strength of women in the camp was also good. Around 500 beds had been arranged for the blood donors. Camps were organised in Haryana, 22 districts of Punjab, 13 districts of Rajasthan, five districts of Uttarakhand, 13 districts of Uttar Pradesh, four districts of Maharashtra, four districts of Madhya Pradesh, 12 places in Himachal Pradesh and two places in Jammu.
