Need to be present from Panchayat to Parliament, says BJP at NE meet

Bhubaneswar, Apr 15: A two-day BJP National Executive meeting began in Bhubaneshwar today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah were the main leaders present in the meet. The party’s main focus is on how to increase the party’s political footprint. The BJP top leadership also discussing all that will go into preparation of a roadmap for the assembly and Lok Sabha elections in 2019.
What is of significance is that the BJP’s top body meet is taking place against the backdrop of the party’s impressive victory in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The maiden victory of BJP in Manipur is also in the backdrop of the top body meeting.
Chairing the meeting, Amit Shah told party leaders that this is just the beginning for the BJP, as the party must continue to strive for victory in the future to cement a pan-India presence.
