Hrithik’s double role in Karan Malhotra’s comedy!
While everyone has been waiting for Varun Dhawan’s comic avatar in ‘Judwaa 2’, here’s competition for the actor. We had earlier reported how Hrithik Roshan and Karan Malhotra are teaming up for a comedy film, and the said project is now soon to go on the floors. According to trade buzz, Hrithik will be seen in a double role, one of which will be a Sikh avatar. In the past, Hrithik has never attempted an out-an-out double role and this untitled project will be his first! Back in 2012, Hrithik and Karan have churned out an intense hit like ‘Agneepath’.
Rajkummar wants to produce films
Rajkummar Rao is planning to turn a producer and is waiting for the right script to back. The ‘Citylights’ actor is on the lookout for a trendy subject which he plans to make his first production venture. Besides producing, Rajkummar Rao is also planning to venture into Hollywood like his female counterparts Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. Buzz suggests that Rajkummar wants to shift base to America and hire an international agent to bag interesting Hollywood films. For now, this Bollywood actor is looking forward to two silver screen releases, ‘Behen Hogi Teri’ and ‘Shimla Mirchi’.
Aditya Roy Kapur: We cannot stop people from comparing ‘OK Jaanu’ with ‘OK Kanmani’
Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor have been about town promoting their upcoming film ‘OK Jaanu’, which is a remake of Southern hit film ‘OK Kanmani’. While a lot of comparisons are being drawn by the fans of the Tamil romantic film, Aditya feels confident about his product, “We got a lot of confidence because the original film was much appreciated. People had loved ‘OK Kanmani’. People will naturally compare, but we just hope that we meet our own expectations. There is obviously a responsibility and a feeling of nervousness,” says Aditya. ‘OK Jaanu’ will release this Friday.
Clash between Ranbir and Salman’s films
Salman Khan’s action adventure ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is set to release on December 22, suggesting another Box Office clash. Ranbir Kapoor has been preparing for the much awaited Sanjay Dutt biopic, which will also hit the screens in the same week as ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. Since Salman has wrapped up ‘Tubelight’, he will soon begin work on the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial in Morocco. The yet untitled Sanjay Dutt biopic will also go on the floors soon, with hit filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani helming the film. This year will begin with a clash between ‘Raees’ and ‘Kaabil’ and ending with a Salman versus Ranbir fight!
